Fire Rescue Camp for Boys & Girls Ages 10-13. This is an interactive camp and the campers will learn CPR, First Aid and what it is like to be a firefighter and EMT. The camp times ill be 8:30 a.m. - 4 pm and lunch will be provided
Is there a "Star" in you? Participants will gain self-confidence and creative self-expression through improvisation, mime, script reading and vocal development while building their knowledge about the "ins and outs" of live performance theater. The class will cover a number of basic areas for success in theater including: proper etiquette for theater actors and audiences, stage direction, understanding the difference between a story and a play, types of plays and theater, learning lines, character development, singing and choreography.
Who am I? Where do I fit in? What do I want? The middle school years can be challenging. This workshop offers girls the opportunity to learn and use practical skills/strategies to ease stress and promote success in and out of school. Girls will be encouraged to explore and express their own creativity through various activities in order to gain a broader sense of self and others. Lunch will be provided.
