The Caroline County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 20, 2023, beginning at 7:00 p.m., in the Community Services Center, Auditorium, located at 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, Virginia:

V-02-2023 – Brooks, Laurie, Owner / Brooks, Raymond, Applicant: Request a variance on tax map #64-A-29B, consisting of 7.92 acres, more or less, zoned Rural Preservation. The property is located on Anderson Mill Road at the Hanover/Caroline County Line, Western Caroline Voting District. Proposed Variance: A variance to Article XII, Lot Area & Other Dimensional Requirements within Districts, Section 1, to allow a 75’ encroachment into the required front setback of 125’. Purpose: To allow the construction of a single family dwelling 50’ from the front property line.

Any persons desiring to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the above are hereby invited to be present at the Public Hearing. Copies of the above applications are on file in the Department of Planning & Community Development, 233 West Broaddus Avenue, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
