Kids' Fishing Day

Description: Kids will have the opportunity to practice what has been learned about fishing by literally fishing off of a pier that extends over the Rappahannock River in the Town of Port Royal . Sign up now and don’t miss either learning or gaining more fishing knowledge from skilled fishermen. Activities will consist of the basics of how to cast, catch, knot tying, rigs and to place bait on the hook. Participant will also be taught about the various types of fish, safety techniques, and parts of the equipment. Fishing Rods will be provided. Parent must accompany their child.
