Underwood Sworn In As
Reedy Church Supervisor
Reggie Underwood received the oath of office Friday afternoon as the new supervisor for the Reedy Church District.
Underwood, a longtime educator and business owner, was flanked by family and friends as he was sworn in by Circuit Court Clerk Ray Campbell. Underwood’s wife Vera held the Bible as Underwood raised his right hand and pledged to do the work of the people for the Reedy Church District.
BOS Chairman Floyd Thomas opened the ceremony held at the Courthouse Annex. Also attending was Bowling Green Supervisor Jeff Sili, Sheriff Tony Lippa, Commissioner of the Revenue Sharon Carter and members of County Staff.
Underwood will begin next week meeting with members of the County’s management team to be briefed on issues involving each department. His first BOS meeting will be March 8.
