Caroline County Department of Social Services will participate in the “Stop the Hunger” Food Drive sponsored by The Salvation Army.

Last year, The Salvation Army furnished Thanksgiving meals to more than 250 Caroline families and they plan to serve even more this year.

A Salvation Army Food Barrel will be located in the lobby of Social Services, 2nd Floor, Caroline Community Services Center from October 20 thru December 4, 2006.

All food donations will be used by them to assist needy families in Caroline for Thanksgiving and Christmas, or as long as the food lasts. All non-perishable food items will be accepted and appreciated.
