Caroline County is forecasted to receive significant amounts of snowfall (8 to 12 inches) as well as an extended period of sub-freezing temperatures. Representatives from Fire - Rescue, Emergency Management, Caroline Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police are closely coordinating emergency responses within the County. County residents are encouraged to stay off the roads until the storm abates and roads are cleared. Also, citizens should monitor news outlets for updates on this developing storm, and check road conditions before they leave home by calling 511 or logging in to 511Virginia.org.
