Shoveling, Digging Out Biggest Disruption During Snow Storms

Web voters say shoveling and digging out is the biggest disruption to their lives as a result of the recent snow storms.

In an online poll taken February 8 through February 16 that attracted 138 voters, 36 percent of web voters said shoveling and digging out was the most disruptive part of their lives during the recent snow storms. Hazardous driving conditions received 26 percent of the vote, and missing work and power outages followed with 14 percent each.

Closing of school received nine percent of the web vote, with finding a baby sitter receiving one percent.

Visitors to the Caroline County government website, www.visitcaroline.com, are invited to participate in web polls regardless of whether they are Caroline County residents or not. Only one vote per visitor is requested.
