State Fair Tickets for Non-Profit Organizations Available September 20

The State Fair of Virginia is once again making available free tickets for non-profit organizations in Caroline County beginning Tuesday, September 20.

The 3rd State Fair at Meadow Event Park will be held September 29-October 9. Last year and the year before last, Fair President Curry Roberts reached out to non-profits in Caroline County and issued free tickets. This is to give children an opportunity to attend the Fair at no cost. Roberts has again made the tickets available and they will be distributed through Caroline County government.

Any non-profit in Caroline County is eligible to receive up to 12 free tickets. The tickets are primarily expected to be given to kids. The tickets are good any day the fair is open. They are good for free admittance into the Fair, but not for any rides or games.

Tickets are available at the Department of Economic Development and Tourism at the Visitor Center in Carmel Church and can be picked up from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets must be picked up in person and proper identification is needed as proof of representing a non-profit organization in Caroline County.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be available until noon on Friday, September 30 or until all of the tickets are gone, whichever comes first.
