Facebook Page Will Improve
Communication, Says Web Voters

Web voters say that adding a Facebook page will improve County government’s communication with the public.

In an online poll taken May 3 through June 7, 30 percent of web voters said the emphasis on improving the County’s communication with the public would be to add a Facebook page. A total of 25 percent said the County should have more self-explanatory written materials and 20 percent would like faster follow-up with answers to questions.

Remaining responses saw 11 percent saying that more public meetings would enhance communication, while 10 percent would like to see an improvement on in-person customer service. Only five percent thought that phone service would be the best way to improve communication with the public.

A total of 123 responses were received.

Visitors to the Caroline County government website, www.visitcaroline.com, are invited to participate in web polls regardless of whether they are Caroline County residents or not. Only one vote per visitor is requested.
