Web Voters Want Better
Communication with County

Web voters spoke loud and clear they want better communication with County government to be the emphasis in its revised Customer Service Program.

In an online poll taken April 7 through May 3, 44 percent of web voters said the emphasis on the County's revised Customer Service Program should be in the area of communication. County staff has been working on revisions of the program and is expected to present it to the Board of Supervisors in June.

Remaining responses were very balanced. Responsiveness received 18 percent of the vote, while public feedback garnered 15 percent. Improving the conditions of buildings, grounds and offices received 14 percent and employee readiness received 13 percent.

A total of 107 responses were received. A follow-up poll in the coming weeks will ask online voters what form of communication they would most like to see. Results will be posted near the end of May.

Visitors to the Caroline County government website, www.visitcaroline.com, are invited to participate in web polls regardless of whether they are Caroline County residents or not. Only one vote per visitor is requested.
