Two Caroline County Sheriff's Office Deputies received promotions in time for the New Year. Lieutenant Angel Lambert was promoted to Captain the first week of December. Captain Lambert's previous responsibility as Patrol Lieutenant will be performed by the newly promoted Lieutenant Stacy Cary. Lieutenant Cary will now supervise all patrol operations while Captain Lambert will focus on scheduling, general supervision - including the agencies three Lieutenants, and the immediate supervision of E-911 Dispatch. Most recently, Lambert graduated from the FBI National Academy and Cary completed training as a Fire Investigator - both of which are firsts for the Caroline County Sheriff's Office. Both Captain Lambert and Lieutenant Cary are life-long Caroline County residents. No new positions were created in the move and the overall number of supervisors has remained the same.
"Both Captain Lambert and Lieutenant Cary exemplify the high standard for excellence that this agency strives for in everything that we do. I am honored to have them as a part of my staff and equally proud to extend to them the promotions they so richly deserve. Their commitment and dedication to their hometown community is a testament to their exceptional character and a trait that would be wise to emulate." Sheriff A.A. Lippa, Jr.
