Little League Park Favorite Spot
To Watch Baseball, Say Web Voters
Internet baseball fans say their favorite spot to take in a game this summer is at the Caroline County Little League Park.
The results are from an online poll taken June 7-21. A total of 31 percent of web voters said that the Little League Park is the most favorite place for them to watch a game this summer. The Diamond in Richmond was runner-up with 19 percent of the vote for those interested in watching the Flying Squirrels. Nationals Park garnered seven percent and the Virginia Sports Complex five percent.
The majority of the web voters, however, had no plans to see a baseball game this summer. This was 38 percent of the vote.
A total of 104 responses were received.
Visitors to the Caroline County government website, www.visitcaroline.com, are invited to participate in web polls regardless of whether they are Caroline County residents or not. Only one vote per visitor is requested.
