Caroline County’s Appliance Program is now accepting donations to help citizens lacking with various essentials.

The Appliance Program was launched in 2008 and asks for cash or in-kind donations to help residents who don’t have various appliances such as room air conditioners, washers, dryers and refrigerators. Used appliances are accepted, as well as cash donations.

The accepted appliances are given to clients of the Department of Social Services. Employees of the Caroline County Public Works Division will come and pick up the used appliances, or they can be dropped off at any County waste disposal convenience site.

Cash donations can be made payable to the Caroline County Treasurer and sent to PO Box 447, Bowling Green, VA 22427. Please note on the check that it is for the Appliance Program.
